Garrett Stanton has built his career around the intersection of people and technology. As part of the initial go-to-market team at Okta, Garrett led global teams that drove revenue over 8 years from less than $1,000,000 through IPO to almost $1,000,000,000. Prior to his time at Okta, Garrett held individual roles within the commercial business unit at Salesforce during period of rapid growth from a single product to multi-category cloud platform company.
He is an early-stage builder and operator of the customer focused teams delivering revenue and customer value, and has been a part of some of the most transformative, industry-dominant global brands in enterprise.
With almost two decades of hands-on experience within Silicon Valley’s top enterprise software infrastructure and security companies, Garrett has a unique combination of go to market strategy and execution expertise he now brings to The Revenant, a new founder-focused consultancy.
The Revenant advises early-stage technical founders as they consider and develop the GTM structure and revenue-generating operations for their organizations. Garrett also works closely with venture capital firms across the US and Europe as well as leaders committed to building authentic partnerships focused on integrity, growth and disruption of the status quo.
A California native, Garrett has called a few places home including the front range of Boulder, the Bay of San Francisco, the square mile of London and the right bank of Paris.
